these fun and friendly classes are for beginner to intermediate potters and include tuition and the "clay of the day" for the weeks project - follow the steps or go wild with our own style! 

weekly projects rotate between the handbuilding methods of pinching, coiling, slab rolling, or a combination of all these methods to create simple sculptures.

projects are adaptable for any level and classes are quite fluid

have something in mind you’d like to try in a future class? let us know and we’ll see if it’s adaptable for everyone.

want to repeat a project? as long as it’s  using the building method for that week let us know & go for it!

*note every 4th class is a glazing day

bring your creations to colourful completion with underglazes, oxides and glazes! matt, glossy, simple or complicated we’ll help you find the combinations that are right for you and your artwork. this class is also available to our wheel throwers.

first we’ll sand any rough edges, give them a dust then wax our ‘bottoms’.

then the fun begins - and don’t worry if you don’t feel creative - we’re here to help!

your creations will be kiln fired and ready for collection within 2-3 weeks 

**as well as the glaze class fee the cost of kiln firing your pieces twice is additional and payable after glaze class - but we’ll explain this when your building.

**remember there are no guarantees when it comes to fire and clay - we always hope the kiln gods will be kind and generous to us!
